Selecting a Series Using Inquiry

To select a series using Inquiry:

1. Click the Inquiry button next to the Record Series field. The inquiry page displays.

To view a record series description, move the mouse over the [?] to the right of the series name. The description displays in a pop-up window.

2. Click the applicable heading at the top of the page to view the list of Company or Departmental record series.

• To view the list of global record series, click Global.

• To view the list of recently used record series, click the heading, Recently Used.

3. Do any of the following to locate the desired series:

• Click a letter from the alphabet at the top of the page to jump to the series that start with that particular letter.

• Scroll down through the list of series to find the one you want.

• Click the plus sign to the left of the series name to expand a parent series to see the sub-series under it.

• Click the minus sign to the left of the series name to collapse a series.

4. Click the title of the record series to select it.

Versatile returns to the originating page. The series selected displays in the Record Series field.
