Submitting Box Creation Requests

Box creation requests may be submitted at the same time they are added, or after completing a saved draft. When you are satisfied with the box and file information you have entered on the Box Creation Page, do the following to submit the request.

Note: If Versatile Web is configured to require the addition of files before a box creation request can be submitted, you may receive a message asking you to add the files before you click the Submit button.

To submit the request:

  1. Do one of the following:
  2. If you are submitting a new box, click the Submit Box button on the Box Creation Page.

Note: You cannot make changes to a box creation request after it is submitted using the Submit Box button.

If any required fields are empty or contain incorrectly formatted information, a message prompts you to fill in the required fields or correct the information. Click OK to dismiss the dialog box, enter the required information, and then repeat the first step in these instructions.

If the request was submitted successfully, the result page displays with a completion message and the request number.

  2. To print the box and file request details, click Print Details (see Printing Box Request Details).

  3. To print labels, click Print Label(s). The My Box Requests page displays. Print the labels as described in Printing Box Labels. This option is only available for boxes that are not drafts.

  4. To create another box creation request, click Create New Box. The Box Creation Page displays again.

  5. To add another box in the same series as the last box, click Clear. The Clear button clears all fields except Company, Department, and Series.
