When you start Versatile Web, the home page displays. Versatile Administrators can customize the text on the Home page.
The Home page contains the Versatile Web options to which you have access. The following menu options might be available depending on the security set for you by the Versatile Administrator:
Submit creation requests for boxes and files from the Creation menu. The Creation menu also has options for viewing the status of existing box and file creation requests, and printing labels for boxes or files already added to the database.
Use the Retrieval menu to search for boxes and files, request items for checkout in the search results, and view your current checkout activity.
View retention schedules from the Retention menu. You have the option to display the global series for your organization or view the series for a company and/or department.
Use the Security menu to access the option to change your password.
Use the Utility menu to display the Versatile Web error log. Use the Versatile Web error log as a utility for troubleshooting problems.
Login or logout of Versatile web from the Login/Logout menu.
