Add items to the checkout request shopping cart by searching from the Box/File Search page.
When you search for an item using barcode search, the item details display. If the item is available for checkout, add the item to the cart by clicking the green plus sign at the right of the Cart Status field at the bottom of the page.
When you search for items using keyword search, box/file criteria, or advanced criteria, the results are listed in the Search Results page. Add items to the cart one at a time, or add all available items on the page at once.
Select Search Boxes/Files from the Retrieval menu, and then perform a search. The Search Results page displays.
A green plus sign appears next to the file or box icon of any item available to check out. If an item is not available, there is no plus or minus sign next to it. After you place an item in the cart, the plus sign changes to a red minus sign.
Place item(s) in your cart:
To select a single item, click the green plus sign next to the item.
To select all items that are available on the current page only, click Select All.
When you place items in the shopping cart, two new buttons display: View and Empty. To view your cart, click the View button. To empty the cart, click the Empty button.

To remove item(s) from your cart:
To remove a single item from the cart, click the minus sign next to the item.
To clear all items selected on the current page only, click Clear All.
To navigate pages, click the page number at the top of the screen, or click Next. Navigating pages does not affect your cart contents. You can add items from any page in the current search results.
To sort the results by a specific column, select the desired column in the Sort By drop-down list. Versatile sorts the list by the field selected.
To refresh the page, click the Refresh button.
