When Checkout Disclaimers are enabled in Versatile Enterprise, disclaimer information displays on the final Request Page when you try to check out an item via Versatile Web-Enterprise. For example, wording similar to the following might display:
Please read the following conditions for records retrieval
and indicate your acceptance of the terms by checking the box above.
- Records retrieved from Archive must not be added to, changed, or removed,
prior to re-filing without permission of the local physical records manager.
- Any copies made of archived Records during retrieval must be destroyed
by the requestor as soon as is practicable and at the latest before the
expiry of the retention period of the original Record. All retrieved Records
must be stored in a secure manner allowing them to be located and presented
to fulfil legal and regulatory requirements.
This disclaimer information can be edited by an Administrator.
You must check the box to agree to the stated conditions for retrieval in order for the request process to continue.
