Versatile Web uses the full-text search engine built into your database platform that can perform Boolean (AND/OR/NOT), phrase, and wildcard searches. For more information on full-text searching with Oracle and MS SQL databases, see Full-Text Searching. You can also click the Help link above the Search button for examples of how to search.
[Optional] Click Clear to remove previous search filters.
Select whether you want to search boxes and/or files by clicking the Boxes and/or Files check boxes. By default, Versatile searches both active and inactive boxes and/or files.
Select the Basic Criteria tab, if it is not already selected.
Click the check box next to the Search Text field, if it is not already selected.
Enter the keywords you want to search for in the Search Text field.
Note: Ten is the default number of search results that display per page. To change the default number of search results that display per page, select a different number from the Results per page drop-down list.
Click Search. The search results display on the Search Results Page (see Displaying Search Results).
