Searching by User-Defined Fields

The User-Defined tab is used to search by user-defined field information.

To search by user-defined fields:

  1. [Optional] Click Clear to remove previous search filters.
  2. Select whether you want to search boxes and/or files by clicking the Boxes and/or Files check boxes. By default, Versatile searches both active and inactive boxes and/or files.

  3. Enter the search criteria on the Basic Criteria, Box/File Criteria, and Advanced Criteria tabs, as desired.
  4. Select the User Defined tab.
  5. Enter the information in the user-defined fields, as necessary (see Rules for Searching User-Defined Fields).
  6. Change the number of search results to display per page, if necessary, from the Results per page drop-down list.

  7. Click Search. The search results display on the Search Results Page (see Displaying Search Results).
