The Box/File Criteria tab is used to search by box number, user box number, file number, or record center Id.
[Optional] Click Clear to remove previous search filters.
Select whether you want to search boxes and/or files by clicking the Boxes and/or Files check boxes. By default, Versatile searches both active and inactive boxes and/or files.
Enter keywords as described in Searching by Keyword if you want to combine the search with keywords.
Select the Box/File Criteria tab.
Note: Whenever you click in an entry field, Versatile automatically checks the check box next to that field; however, your search is not filtered by that field unless you enter a value in the field.
Filter by user box number, record center ID, box number, or file number:
To filter by user box number, type the number in the User Box Number field. You must enter the exact value desired, as this search does not perform a wildcard search.
To filter by record center, type the desired record center Id in the Record Center ID field. You must enter the exact value desired.
To filter by box number, type the desired box number(s) in the Box Number(s) field. When entering more than one box number, separate the numbers with a comma or a space.
Note: To inventory the files in a specific box, enter the box number, and then select the check box next to Files.
To filter by record number, type the desired record number(s) in the Record Number(s) field. When entering more than one record number, separate the numbers with a comma or a space.
Note: Ten is the default number of search results that display per page. To change the default number of search results that display per page, select a different number from the Results per page drop-down list.
Click Search. The search results display on the Search Results Page (see Displaying Search Results).
